Lesson Info & Policies
Scheduling:
You may choose either 4 half-hour lessons per month (usual) or 2 one-hour lessons per month, depending on your instructor’s preference and availability. Please call us for the most recent rates and schedule.
You will have an assigned day and time each week – that is your time slot. Tuition is paid to reserve your time slot whether you attend lessons or not. Once time is gone, it’s gone. Your teacher cannot get back the missed income. See the Cancellation policy below.
Payment:
All tuition for private lessons is to be paid at the BEGINNING of each month. If you start in the middle of the month, your first payment should include all lessons through the end of that month. We do not expect or require our instructors to teach lessons if students forget to bring payment – so please do not expect them to!
Payment for classes is due in full on or before the first day of class. See class descriptions for details on refunds for cancellation (not available after the 2nd class). Note that there may be a non-refundable registration fee.

We accept cash, checks and Paypal to info[at]amazingcool.com. In addition, there is an ATM machine ½ block from our studio.
We will provide a voucher card each month, please bring it to each lesson and we will mark it for you. Expired vouchers with lessons that were missed in prior months and not made up in that same month will not be honored.
Cancellation policy:
If you know ahead of time that you can only make 3 lessons in the month, then we will accept payment for just those three lessons. You may do this up to 3 times per calendar year.
We appreciate a 24 hour notice for other cancellations. Please call us at 412-269-0846 (or our toll free number 1-877-316-8073) and we will make every effort to reschedule your lesson. Please understand that makeup lessons MAY NOT be available due to scheduling, or they may be a different format than what you are used to. (In other words, it may be a group lesson or practice session).
Lessons that cancel in less than 24 hours or are a no-show will be billed as usual. Students with 2 consecutive no shows may forfeit their time slot.
All lessons are held on site at Amazing Cool Music Place studios.
